![]() ![]() From what i understood every piece or timeline in E7 never happened they were figments of Eureka's attempts to create a working world in which she can see renton again. I personally thought the original planned ending was far more poignant and meaningful in terms of narrative & environmental context that the show was based on. It seemed that Sato was trying to finally bring that ending to fruition. Almost every piece of written works coming out of the original series involved tragedy either with the loss of renton or eureka. ![]() It kept reminding me about how many years ago Dai Sato (the writer) always wanted the original series to end differently but it was changed due to external reasons. It was interesting to see Eureka in a different light, to say she was trying to relive and create causality in such a way that renton would come back.
